Question 1

What is Ringlyx?

Accepted Answer

Ringlyx is a managed AI phone answering service for small businesses in Canada. An AI front desk named Ava answers your business line, captures every request and texts and emails you when one needs action. We write the agent, connect your number and run it for you.

Question 2

Do I have to set anything up?

Accepted Answer

No. We write the agent for your business, connect your number and run it. After you sign up, we call you to get it live.

Question 3

Will callers know it is an AI?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Ava opens by saying the call is recorded, and answers honestly if anyone asks whether they are talking to a person.

Question 4

Does it book appointments by itself?

Accepted Answer

It takes the request and your team confirms. It never promises a slot it cannot see, so nobody is double-booked.

Question 5

What about emergencies?

Accepted Answer

Ava flags them as urgent and you are alerted immediately. She tells the caller to use emergency services when it is truly an emergency.

Question 6

Can I keep my existing phone number?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You forward your line to us, so you can switch it off any time.

Question 7

How will I hear about calls?

Accepted Answer

Appointment requests, callbacks and emergencies reach you by text and email as the call ends. Everything else waits in a daily summary, and every call and its transcript is in your private workspace.

Question 8

What does Ava not do?

Accepted Answer

She does not give medical, legal or other professional advice, quote prices she was not given, or promise an arrival time or an appointment slot. Anything like that goes to you.

Question 9

What does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Plans start at $299 CAD a month (Basic) and $599 CAD a month (Pro, with more minutes and reporting), plus a one-time $500 CAD setup, plus HST. Bigger or custom needs: talk to us.

Question 10

What happens if I use all my minutes?

Accepted Answer

We email you when you reach 80% and 100% of the minutes in your plan. Your calls keep being answered, and nothing extra is charged automatically.

Question 11

What do you do with call recordings and personal information?

Accepted Answer

Calls are recorded and callers are told at the start. How we handle that information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is a draft while a lawyer reviews it.

Question 12

Who is behind Ringlyx?

Accepted Answer

Ringlyx is made by Nuraveda, a small company in Toronto. When you sign up, a person calls you.
